FREE SHIPPING - AS USUAL
(Because of advancing age and the problems that go with same, I'll be cutting back on the
number of items in my ebay store over the next few months - especially items that are
difficult to ship [like oversized pre ww1 sheet music and other oversized items] as well as inexpensive items that have been
listed for more than 2 years without much buyer interest. If you are watching such an
item in my store, you'd best buy it now before it's permanently removed).

Book has original owner's name, Parnell Mitchell on title page. Signed [in type - NOT AUTOGRAPHED] at end of text by H J Wurtele for the company and A E Spain for the union.
Finished size is 4

inches for perusal.
Birmingham Southern Railroad was owned by Tennessee Coal, Iron & Railroad Company. 95% of its work was moving raw materials - coal, iron ore & limestone - for the making of iron and steel from and to TCI's mines in the greater Birmingham area to the company's various blast furnaces and processing plants. The railroad occasionally carried passengers but that was usually for official company excursion and facilities tour occasions.
As of 18 December 2020 this was the only one listed on ebay.
(Starting 18 March 2020 - though I'm social distancing myself and have absolutely no symptoms - I will rub [until dry] a fresh dollop of rubbing alcohol into my hands immediately before picking your items from my shelves and packing them - and again when I mail them).
Very near fine; original 70 year old binding staples are not rusted and are holding on really well; except for original owner's signature, interior of book is VERY CLEAN (& tight).
