Despite the fact that I had 3 to sell, I would hardly call these anywhere near common. They aren't rare but certainly are scarce. As a lifelong Seattle resident (well, 1937 was a bit before my time and my parents' high school era) I find it very interesting that there was such a major event surrounding the new "Alaskan Way" downtown. The viaduct ran along the commerical Seattle waterfront and was a major roadway for a long time--until it was just recently demolished due to fear that the concrete structure was unstable. Now there is a tunnel along the same 2-mile long route. Aside from the history lesson, this is a very nice and inexpensive medal and hope someone will enjoy it.
