Thomas A Edison Ediphone Voice Writer With Stand. Appears to be complete (to my untrained eye). Burgundy color.
Plugged in internal cord and whirring sound (motor?) was heard. The mandrel did not spin because the leather belt that drives the mandrel is off and needs to be replaced. Switch on hand horn appeared to work.
Power cable from cabinet needs to be rewired. Easy fix as the original two prong socket connector can be unscrewed for cord replacement.
Eight cylinders (mostly cracked and broken) in eight original Edison sleeves with index strips in lower storage cabinet.
